Bleaching Appliance Instructions

Your bleaching appliance is very simple to use. Use the syringe of liquid and squirt a small amount on the outside part of the teeth you want to bleach. Place the appliance in your mouth. Wipe off the excess liquid with your finger. Take a toothbrush and brush off any excess. Most people wear it overnight; some people choose to wear it 2 hours at a time during the day. When you take it out brush your teeth with a fluoride tooth paste. If you have any irritation in the gum tissue, note where these areas are so we can check your appliance at your next visit. If you are experiencing sensitivity stop using the material until it lessens. We like to see you a few days after delivering it to you to see how you are progressing . Usually 5-7 nights should do it. You may want to use it again every couple of months.

If you have any tooth colored fillings, they may appear to be darker after bleaching because they will not change color and your teeth will. Crowns will not change color either, so they may end up looking darker. If your gum tissue shows a whitish appearance, it is from the oxygenation process and you may need to wear it fewer hours less at a time to avoid this.

It's simple and easy and you can get some great results. Looking forward to seeing you back again with your whiter teeth!
