For Root Canal Treatment
Endodontic therapy (root canals) is a service provided by Dr. Smith. If a tooth has been infected or had a large cavity enter the nerve, root canal treatment is performed. Typically, as with most procedures, the tooth is mildly to moderately sore after endodontic therapy. In most cases the use of Ibuprofen or Tylenol for 2-3 days reduces the soreness and the tooth feels normal in approximately one week.
