After Care Answers
For Sensitive Teeth

Post operative sensitivity is common following most dental procedures. This can include pain during chewing, sore gums and hot and cold sensitvity in the teeth themselves. Most of the time these post operative symtoms are temporary and will diminish within a few days. Great care is taken to minimize these symtoms along with the use of state of the art dental materials that are designed to help reduce post operative sensitivity. An anti-inflamatory medication such as Ibuprofen can be given to help minimize this tooth sensitivity and speed up the recovery time.
