For a Sore Jaw After Treatment


Occasionally the jaw joint (TMJ) can become sore from being open for extended periods of time. We are aware of this potential problem and allow our patients frequent breaks or rest periods to minimize any post operative discomfort. The use of Nitrous Oxide during dental procedures helps relax the muscles of the jaw and face and can be a nice, pleasant way to keep the jaw muscles comfortable during dental procedures.
