Front Office
Cathy
Hi my name is Cathy. I have been in the dental field for 21 years. Most of these years have been as a receptionist in the front office. I have two grown sons and two granddaughters. I enjoy being of assistance to you in any way I can from scheduling your appointments to assisting you with your insurance. It is such pleasure to work in such a wonderful office with Dr. West who truly cares about his patients and his staff. We will all see that your visit to our office is as pleasant as possible.

Lauren
Hello my name is Lauren and I am a mommie of a 2 year old son who keeps me very busy when I am not working. I have been working in the dental field for six years. I love interacting with people and have been told that I am very personable. When patients are happy, we are happy. Dr. West and his staff make it very easy to love what I do even more. I look forward to getting to know you and please don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have during your visit.

Gilda
I have worked in Dr. West's dental office for the last 20 years and have covered a number of positions during this time. My chief responsibility is to keep in the standards that Dr. West has set for the practice and to make sure all staff members (including myself) are working up to those standards. As Dr. West is very particular and emphatic about the way he wants the office to run, one might think this is a difficult job, but with the incredible staff we have my job is made easy. We all see the value of the end product and everyone is willing to work extra hard to make sure everything goes right for our patients. With this shared commitment we have become a strong family. When you come to Dr. West's office you will see this, that we care about each other and our patients.

Jody
Hi my name is Jody. I have been a dental assistant for 16 years. I graduated at the top of my class in assisting. I am originally for Ohio, but moved here in 1974. I have worked for Dr. West for 7 years. Every year that has gone by I have seen us grow as a team. Working for Dr. West has been a very positive experience for me because he allows me to be very creative with my abilities. This in turn has resulted in better treatment for our patients. I am very proud of the beautiful dentistry that we consistently do in this practice, day in and day out. I am looking forward to meeting you.

Pete
Hello, my name is Pete. My main function in the office is to be sure that everything used for the patient is sterile and in good operating order. We strive or meet and surpass O.S.H.A. standards. My 17 years in the U.S. Navy as a dental assistant has given me knowledge in every aspect of dentistry. I enjoy working in the office since we all work together to make everything work well for the patient.

I graduated from Cerritos College hygiene program in 1980 and did my training at U.C.L.A. Since my husband, my two daughters, and I are very active in the community, it is so nice to meet people and hear only positive things about Dr. West. For example, I will run into patients at the market and I feel so good to know that they are excited to tell me about how happy they are with Dr. West. After working for these last 12 years, it is great to see how beautiful the dentistry is that Dr. West did 15 to 20 years ago. He always tells his patients about how he wants to help people keep their teeth forever, and I have seen for myself that it can really be done.

Hi my name is Lynne. I graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science in dental hygiene. As an office, we focus on working together as a team to promote and maintain patients oral health which helps to prevent future problems. Dr. West and I are always reviewing the current literature to make sure we are giving the patient the best possible treatment. I work very hard to make sure you visit is a thorough yet as comfortable as possible. Hope to see you soon.

I have worked for Dr. West for 12 years now as one of his hygienists. I graduated from Cerritos College hygiene program in 1981. I have 18 years of experience in both general and periodontal practice. I have taken several classes over the years to make it possible for me to help Dr. West's patients attain the best dental health possible. Having worked in the same office for 12 years has allowed me to see how patients who keep routine visits are able to avoid unnecessary problems and keep their teeth healthy.
